Old Charlie is a private destination golf club being laid out across a phenomenal site just north of the 30A vacation corridor on the Florida panhandle.
It’s being purpose-built for easy-to-plan golf trips that you and your friends repeat each year. Come out for a day or a weekend or a week every year, and that’s all you pay for.
That starts with a site that defies the Florida stereotype. 150 feet of elevation change. Rolling, sandy stands of pine. Wind-exposed crags and rugged gulches. It’s an incredible site that will produce unforgettable golf.
Keith Rhebb & Riley Johns are bringing it to life. Their shaping work can be experienced at Top 100 stalwarts like Old Town, Cabot Cliffs, Streamsong Red, and Sheep Ranch, and they’ve won acclaim for their original designs at Winter Park 9 and The Bootlegger as well.
They can count themselves among the best in the business at unearthing soul-stirring golf, and for Old Charlie we’ve given them complete creative freedom to do exactly that.

Room to breathe.
Great golf trips aren’t just about the golf. They’re about the stories. The atmosphere.
So we designed the entire experience around the idea that your club should actually be about you.
We deliberately chose intimacy over volume. Limiting our capacity to just 72 players per day creates one of the rarest feelings in modern golf: Solitude. To us, having the place to yourself is the entire point. In a world where empty fairways are becoming an endangered species, we’re making sure you have room to breathe.
That philosophy continues after the round. The Hammock is a social hub, not a country club. Fire pits, a full bar, live music at sunset, and a lighted short course for when you just can't call it quits. Good people, cold drinks, and as much golf as you want.
And when you're finally ready to call it a night, you don't have to go far. Our on-site cabins sit just steps from the action, with room for your whole crew. Wake up, warm up on the sim, and do it all over again.

The cost of membership to Old Charlie is a one-time reservation fee plus modest annual dues per reservation once we're open. Dues include unlimited golf plus cart on your play date(s). Your membership includes:
Unlimited Golf on your Play Date(s): Annual dues cover green fees and cart on your play dates. Play 54 holes, or spend all day on the short course and The Hammock. How you do Old Charlie is up to you, and it’s all included.
Nothing Unexpected: There are no monthly minimums at Old Charlie and there will be no assessments, ever. There are no hidden forecaddie fees or parking fees and there will be no $25 cocktails. Pay today to reserve your space and pay every year for your golf, and that’s it.

Most members purchase four or eight reservations to lock in a guaranteed annual trip for themselves and their friends. That’s good for a day or two of unlimited golf for your foursome. It’s enough access to truly get away and rejuvenate, but it won’t break the bank.
