Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and usage of membership reservations at Old Charlie Golf Club ("Old Charlie"), a registered DBA of Goat Track Holdings LLC, a Florida limited liability company.

1. Refund Policy

Initiation fees are non-refundable once paid. In the unlikely event that the project is canceled entirely and permanently, members will be eligible for a refund of initiation fees. Members will receive regular project updates, including notification of any significant developments affecting the club or the construction process.

2. Project Status Disclosure

Old Charlie Golf Club is currently a pre-construction project. Membership details, course routing, design features, and operational specifics are subject to changes and adjustments as the project progresses through design, routing decisions, and necessary regulatory approval processes. Members will receive ongoing communication regarding key milestones, updates, and any significant developments.

3. Nature of Membership (Non-Equity, Non-Investment)

Membership at Old Charlie Golf Club does not confer or imply any form of equity ownership or investment stake in Old Charlie Golf Club, Goat Track Holdings LLC, or any affiliated entity. Memberships are purely for recreational use, providing access to golf and associated club facilities. No representation or guarantee is made regarding financial return, appreciation, or profitability related to the purchase of a membership.

4. Reservation Usage Policy

Each reservation must have a designated primary member (the purchaser). The primary member is responsible for providing Old Charlie with the names of golfers attending on their reserved date(s) ahead of the scheduled date. Attendee names may be updated or changed annually. Upon arrival, golfers must check in by name against the provided reservation list to gain access to Old Charlie facilities.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Old Charlie designates approximately 220 days for reserved play per year, allocated by season and time of week. Remaining days are reserved for essential course maintenance closures (such as aeration), make-up dates due to weather-related closures, and other make-up contingencies. Maintenance closures ensure consistent, high-quality course conditions without disruption to the member experience, and weather-related closures are an unfortunate reality in Florida.

If a member cannot attend their scheduled reservation date, we request advance notice as soon as possible. The primary and preferred option is for the member to designate another golfer to attend in their place. Should that not be possible, Old Charlie will provide flexible options for rescheduling to another available date within the same calendar year or the following year.

In cases of weather disruptions during your scheduled visit, Old Charlie will make reasonable efforts to accommodate alternative arrangements during the same timeframe (if requested), potentially adjusting daily capacity slightly to ensure members can enjoy their reserved golf experience. If your scheduled play date(s) get rain/stormed out, you’ll get the chance to reschedule your play date(s) to available weather make-up date(s) in the current or in a following year.

6. Membership Responsibilities and Risk Acknowledgement

By purchasing a membership, members acknowledge and agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Prompt payment of annual dues upon invoice.

  • Adherence to club policies, rules, and guidelines provided upon opening and thereafter.

  • Acceptance that golf-related activities involve inherent risks, including injury or damage to personal property. Members voluntarily accept these risks.

  • Confirmation that members have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

7. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Members agree that any disputes arising under or related to this agreement will be resolved exclusively within Walton County, Florida. Parties agree to first seek resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in Walton County, conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless otherwise mutually agreed.

8. Liability Waiver

Members understand and acknowledge that participation in club-related activities—including pre-opening events (construction site tours, preview golf rounds) and golf play once Old Charlie is operational—involves inherent risks including injury or damage to personal property. By participating, members voluntarily accept these risks and agree to release and hold harmless Old Charlie Golf Club, Goat Track Holdings LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from any liability arising from such participation. Members acknowledge that additional, specific waivers may be required for certain activities or events.
